THE SCROLL OF
TAIWU
The Scroll of Taiwu is an open-world sandbox RPG rooted in Chinese mythology and wuxia. Play as the mysterious heir of the Taiwu clan across generations of heirs, visiting martial sects to learn thousands of techniques, building villages, forging alliances or blood feuds, raising a family, and finally confronting the clan's hereditary enemy to decide the fate of the world. Every playthrough features procedurally generated maps and NPCs, blending Roguelike conflict, deep crafting, cricket fighting, and authentic turn-based martial arts combat where every strike lands on specific body parts. Still in Steam Early Access since 2018; the 1.0 release The Scroll of Taiwu: Beyond the Dome is planned for June 17, 2026 with an official English translation.
