Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about accounts, guides, community, and getting around Dragon Forge.
Getting started
Dragon Forge is an English-language community for standout games from China and Greater China. We publish news, player-written guides, and host discussions for a global audience.
No. News, guides, games, and community threads are public. You need a free account to post discussions, write guides, like content, and manage your profile.
The site UI and primary content are in English. Some community threads may include Chinese — board labels help you spot language-focused discussions.
Accounts & sign-in
Go to Sign up, enter your email, username, and password, then verify your email from the activation link we send you. You must activate before you can sign in.
Check spam or promotions folders first. On the sign-in page, open "Resend activation email", enter your address, and complete the image verification. Links expire after 48 hours.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. Enter your email and image verification, then enter the 6-digit code from your inbox and choose a new password. Codes expire in 15 minutes.
Sign in, open your avatar menu, and go to Settings. You can update country, birthday, bio, and upload a profile photo there.
In Settings, scroll to the danger zone and type your username exactly to confirm. This soft-deletes your account; your public posts and guides may remain visible with your username.
Guides & news
Open Write a guide from the guides section. Use Markdown in the editor, add a game, cover image, and tags, then publish. You must be signed in to save drafts or publish.
Drafts are stored on your account when you save them. Re-open the editor while signed in to restore your latest draft. Publishing requires a title and linked game.
News articles summarize official updates, launches, and patches. Each article links to its original source. We curate and write for English-speaking players rather than mirroring full press releases.
Community
Sign in and go to New discussion from the community page. Pick an optional game, category, and write your post. You can attach up to six images (5 MB each).
Read our Community Guidelines. Be respectful, stay on topic, no harassment or spam, and label spoilers where needed. Moderators may remove content or restrict accounts that break the rules.
Some threads are locked by moderators — no new replies are accepted on locked posts. If you believe a thread was locked in error, contact us via the contact form.
Help & privacy
Use the contact form with your question and a valid email. We reply privately and do not publish personal support addresses on the site.
