Community Guidelines

Rules for a welcoming space where global players discuss news, guides, and games from China.

Dragon Forge is a global community for players who love Chinese games. These guidelines apply to community threads, comments, profiles, and user-submitted guides. By participating, you agree to follow them. We may update this page as the community grows.

1

Respectful conduct

Treat fellow players with courtesy. Disagreements about builds, meta, or story choices are fine; personal attacks, slurs, and demeaning language are not.

2

No harassment or hate speech

We do not tolerate targeted harassment, threats, stalking, or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or similar characteristics.

3

Stay on topic

Post in the board that best fits your thread. Keep replies relevant to the discussion. Off-topic derails may be moved or closed by moderators.

4

No spam or self-promotion

Do not flood boards with repetitive posts, referral links, unsolicited ads, or low-effort content designed only to drive traffic elsewhere.

5

No illegal content

Do not share instructions for cheating in online games, piracy, malware, doxxing, or anything that violates applicable law or platform terms of service.

6

Protect privacy

Do not post another person's private information (real name, address, phone, private messages) without their consent. Redact screenshots that expose personal data.

7

Share accurate information

Label speculation and leaks clearly. When citing patch notes or official announcements, link to the source when possible so others can verify.

8

Spoilers & content warnings

Use spoiler tags or clear warnings for story endings, unreleased content, and sensitive material. Give others a chance to opt in before revealing major plot points.

9

Intellectual property

Share only content you have rights to post. Short quotes and fair-use discussion are welcome; re-uploading full articles, art, or videos without permission is not.

10

Language & accessibility

Dragon Forge is built for a global English-speaking audience. Write in clear English in public boards unless a board explicitly allows another language. Avoid walls of untranslated text.

Enforcement

Moderators enforce these guidelines to keep discussions constructive. Actions depend on severity, intent, and history. We may remove content, lock threads, restrict features, or suspend accounts. Attempts to evade a ban are not allowed.

Reporting content

Use the report option on threads and posts when you see a violation. For urgent safety issues or appeals, use our contact form and include a link to the content and a short description of the problem.

  • Direct link to the thread or post
  • Which guideline you believe was broken
  • Any relevant screenshots (with personal info redacted)

Moderation process

  1. 1

    Review

Reports and flags are reviewed by moderators, usually within 24-48 hours.

  2. 2

    Evaluation

We assess context, history, and severity against these guidelines.

  3. 3

    Action

Outcomes may include warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent bans.

  4. 4

    Notification

When possible, we explain the reason for action. Severe or repeat violations may skip prior warnings.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was made in error, contact us within 14 days via the contact page. Include your username, the action taken, and why you disagree. We review appeals as time allows; decisions after review are final for that incident.

These guidelines apply across Dragon Forge community features. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.
