Out of Hands is a surreal live-action collage card adventure from Game River, led by solo developer Yang Zeyu. After losing a loved one, you wake trapped in a looping nightmare—twisted into a creature made of countless hands—and must fight through four distinct dream worlds built from real footage, hand-drawn art, and psychological horror. Deckbuilding meets turn-based card combat: mix organ abilities, treat everyday objects as weapons, and plan each turn against enemies born from warped memories and negative emotions. Three inner voices—Mystery, Logic, and Action—shape branching choices across a full main story, side content, and multiple endings, with RPG progression layered into strategic battles. Originally prototyped in 30 days for the 2021 TapTap IndieCamp, winning Best Game and Best Innovation; later honored at IndiePlay 2022, GWB 2022, IndieCade 2024, BitSummit 2024, and more. Released April 21, 2025 on Windows via Steam (App ID 1839810); supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese.
